so I passed by this shop and their show-room many times, but never stopped because it was cold and I am always in a hurry to get somewhere.... anyway, fast forward to today - since I put the new steering wheel in the Bavaria, I just can't stop driving the thing, I love it !

So driving my 35 year old beauty today (the weather is somewhat decent and it's sunny) I saw that the owner of the show-room was taking out his collection outside and I decided to stop. Good thing I did because they will rent out the show-room space and the owner is moving his collection to his suburban house.
First there was this absolutely mint 280 SEL (1971) with just 27k miles on it

check out the interior, WOW ! It smelled like new, no kidding

but the absolute diamond was this 69 200 with just original 4k !!!!!!! miles

check out the original Mercedes Factory plastic wrap on the seats !!!!!

how about the optional Mercedes leather luggage? :pimp:

there were many more unique cars there-
few SLs in this body style

and the magnificient 350 vert ($200k price tag)

I did not take pics inside the shop where they are restoring bunch of other Benzes (including the 600) but I will def be back to that place with the decent camera next time !
