you are running them in the early fogs? The rectangle ones?

If so for how long? I have the early E30 Euro valance with fogs and I cant tell they are on with the 55 watt lights. I found some 100watt H3 bulbs for them, Ive just been afraid to run them? How long have you left them on for?

Ever since I put HID in you can hardly tell the fogs are on.
      Im now E30less.

just stay with the stockers @ 55w or whatever... its not worth an upgrade it wattage since all the bulb does is generate more heat...

The foglight glass will not crack from the heat alone. The most common cause of instant cracks is temperature shock. Driving through standing water, and splashing it on the glass is the most common of that.

mine are allready cracked. Im not worried about that. I am worried about damaging the housings by running 100w. With the HID you can barely tell they are on. I almost never use them anymore.

Mine are pretty dang cracked. When I got the car there was one small crack in one of them, now one is pretty bad and the other has a small crack. Time to replace them, it seems. ;)
