I don't think it's settled just yet. I've known Jeff for many years and have been hearing about his plans for spacers, etc. and that he is still waiting on them to be shipped for almost a year now. Hell, I sold Jeff the E36 M3 floating rotors AND a set of E36 M3 wheels and I know first hand that he hasn't been able to bolt everything up because he is waiting on this.

Jeff is a man who is as honest as they come. He's also very easy going and patient about things...probably too patient! He hasn't received any rotor spacers as of the last time I talked to him, which was just the other day.

The spacers were shipped out to him in mid September 2008.

I have had correspondence with him off and on. Please stop your little e-drama hearsay BS and tend to things you know about.

I guess you want to discuss this on the web? Thanks for answering my email…

I have never received anything, do you have documentation showing a tracking #, or anything mentioning you shipped me the parts? I certainly don’t.

I've been on this site since 2004, all of a sudden I guess I decided to start making big profits by scamming you for a set of $200 rotor spacers?
This has been my master plan all along, establish myself on this site for 5 years, wait for some shumck to come along and then pounce, oh ya. Big profits.

        YOU NEVER SENT ANYTHING

        You are a thief.

I've contacted the police, we'll see if anything comes out of it. Worst case maybe my troubles will keep someone else for getting ripped off.

As I indicated in my emails, your spacers were shipped out to you in September there ace. No, I do not have shipping info for things I sent out over 8 months ago. Yes, I did send them, they all went out less than a week after me getting them back with a little printout of how they fit and where to sand down if needed. As well as a welcome to exchange them on the next batch for a looser fit on the OEM wheel bearing.

Call them all you want. I have the invoicing from the 2 batches of spacers I had done. I guess it makes sense for me to make spacers, sell them, and then sit on them for no reason other than having more crap on my shelves. Or I have 10 E30 M3s all with brake conversions.

If you hadnt got them then, you should have notified me so that I could have filed a claim with the shipping company at that point. At no point in our phone convos did I ever say or imply that I would refund you, and if I did refund you, I would need the spacers back, which you supposedly never 'got.' But the first I heard of that was AFTER the fact that I wasnt sure if I was making another batch or not. I didnt make a dime on making these, so what would be the point in having them made, and not getting them out? Nothing, exactly.

Your invoice for 10 sets is great, that doesn’t prove anything about who you shipped them to. Why don’t you post that invoice.

You might want to change your story a bit, looking back in the original rotor spacer thread: on 8/13 I asked if you had an order for a 3rd set (you had been waiting since the end of June for a 3rd order). On 8/13 you said :
“I have another interested party. Either way, I am going to make these so they can be sent out shortly.

            PMs replied. “

So how did your order go from 2~3 sets on 8/13/08 to ordering 10 sets and shipping one of those supposed 10 sets to be by the end of September 08?

I sent you 6 PM’s between 10/2 and 10/16, asking for updates. Any one of those you had a chance to enlighten me about your shipment to me. I posted on the forum 10/14~10/16, looking for information, once again another chance for you to enlighten me about a shipment. If you had shipped something you had quite a few chances to tell me about a shipment.

I did get your email on 10/16, I tried email to get an update, you did respond with this:
            “Jeff-

There has been a fairly large snafu and problem. The shop I paid to make them has since disappeared. My friend that worked there is trying to track down either the billet, or the money for me to
have someone else machine them out. Sorry for the lack of response, I rarely check my PMs on r3v. I have over 100 unread, little daunting.

            Curt”

I have asked for updates, in PM and emails. The few times you did reply you never mentioned anything about shipping a set out to me. Produce something, email/PM etc that proves you shipped something to me.

Below I’ve posted every correspondence we’ve had from the beginning of this debacle (except for the email you sent last night, which you only restated your position on shipping me parts last fall)

You’ll see how many times I’ve asked for updates and the different ways I’ve been trying to get a hold of you. I asked for updates pretty frequently last fall when you supposedly shipped them, and nothing in there states you had shipped parts.

Look through those posts at any time you could have told me you sent something. The 1st time you mentioned anything about sending a set out was 5/4/09.

Genius you are... Look at 8-13-08. Thats when I actually got the funds from the paypal account. Within a couple weeks I had them made and sent out with a lil reminder for people who did or didnt want to trade them out. The 3rd batch, which was to get me a set as well as replace any too tight of sets back as a swap. Which is what you were inquiring about I believed. There are more emails that you didnt included in that little expose there sir.

Nowhere did I see or hear that you hadnt received them up until this last little bit after your rather annoying banter. My belief was that you were flipping the coin as I wasnt likely going to be making any more, that your only chance was to claim you got nothing. Or that you had misplaced them and had nothing to trade back. Now I think you just flat out never got them, which means you should have notified me of that at some point before 8-10 months later so that I could have filed a claim with the shipping company within the 60 day time frame.

Or maybe you did get them, set them on a shelf choosing to wait for the better fitting set, and now you cant find them. I dont know, I am not you, your mailman, your mother or your dog with a sore butt from dog-man sex.

You got the funds on 8/13? that’s odd since I pay-pal’d you in May. Actually you gave me your buddy’s email smonkbmw@yahoo.com to pay-pal.

Just want to make it very clear when I paid.

I never received your “little reminder”, take a look through the communications, nowhere in there will you find anything about a re-worked / replacement set, until you mentioned it this thread on 5/4/09 and accused me of trying to scam you.

I tried a variety (PM/Email/Forum) of ways to contact you around the time your saying the parts were shipped.

You had many opportunities to let me know you had shipped a part. I think it’s pretty clear from my multiple attempts at contact you asking for an update on my order that I never received anything.

You didn’t mention how you couldn’t find a 3rd buyer between the end of May and Middle of August, but somehow you placed an order to your supplier for 10 sets and you supposedly sent me 1 of those sets and the other sets were completely sold.

Also I feel the need to answer you accusation that I’m just looking for a re-worked set:
I do have the E36M3 rotors, but I do not have the E30M3 hubs. So without any communication from you saying that the fit was poor I would have no way to check for fit.

The only email I didn’t attach you sent on 5/7/09:

Here is your response from my question on asking if you wanted to discuss off-line, I also restated I never received the spacers:
“All spacers were sent out for the second batch in mid September. That email is regarding the next (3rd) that I was planning and allowing people to swap theirs out if the fitment was too tight for their liking. I though you were merely wanting to swap them out. The claims that you never got them seem a little far fetched to me seeing as how all other 10 parties got theirs.

                Curt”

You ordered 10 sets and 10 parties other than Jeff got them?
r3v-court in session and Jeff has done quite well as plaintiff.

This is awkwardly looking like a situation to protect the "good guy" and straighten out miscommunication/lost in shipment/delinquent hand in providing goods.
Hate to have stepped into a thread where its none of my business but there are a LOT of people reading this thread and hoping for a good outcome.

That said, Jeff I hope you find retribution and Curt, maybe you'll figure out why Jeff really doesnt have what you were to provide.
                  I'm out.

Not to interrupt this situation, but Van Westervelt,

I plan on smoking my taillights this weekend and I know you smoke them. Could you possibly share some steps I could follow as well as what products are best to use in order to get the BEST results. I'm no fool and understand doing it right is the best way, that's why I want your help, so it turns out good. Thanks! :D

I'll just have to go off what I've heard is the best procedure then. Hopefully it turns out!
