yeah, but the new SMG software does all that for you......which is better because a computer program has all the work and shit for you......which is good, right?

come on rob, after driving my friends 645ci (awaiting 20" LM's and an Eisenmann), you gotta give SMG a bit for it's coolness factor. ya know, coolness, like cordless phones, wireless toasters, and porn in the bathroom. that kinda cool...

I've got a good amount of seat time in a SMGII e46, and yes it was neat, but i'd rather haver 3 pedals and spend the extra on a big TV, nice stereo, and PS2 with GT3 and have the same amount of fun

When they came out, SMG's were neato.....but now they just piss me off. They tease you.....it's like a manual, only not.

You will eventually get annoyed by the lack of clutch pedal and be upset. Or course, it's better than a plain automatic, but that makes the new M5 like an automatic, only better.

Even though the SMG may have a cool launch program, most people are upset they cannot do it "the old fashion way".

Cool vid. Cracks me up that the narrorator says it's a manual because its a "drivers car" and now its only offered with SMG. So does that mean the new M5 is not a driver's car? :shock:
