couple things ive learned in the internet,
always block out your license plate in pics
always post emails in this format dontpostvinsinthreads AT douchenozzle DOT com
and dont post carfax vins in threads

Not that I'm doubting you or anything, but what is the purpose of doing this? I always do it anyway but simply because I see everyone else doing so.

Posting something that can be tied to an address where the car is likely parked every night in the same place where you post about all of the cool expensive goodies you install on said car is a bad idea.

I see, so theoretically I post my turbo car, with German goodies, very desirable extras with my plate. You can look up I guess my town and rob my shizz. I mean I always understood if I posted a video of reckless driving or whatnot blur plates to avoid identification, but I see where you coming from for theft. Like I said I always did so anyway I just didn't understand why.
