More evidence of RIDICULOUS product pricing

Jordan and I made one of these for less than $4, and Ken was doing the same. Look at this bullshit. Just one more reason why I don't give any of my business to Bavarian Autosporrt anymore.

NEW! Shave seconds off your shift times with the Hammerstand! You waste a lot of time during shifting because you must depress the clutch pedal beyond its true disengagement point. With the Hammerstand, you¹ll enjoy perfect shifts every time. Just step on the clutch pedal as hard as you like the Hammerstand stops the pedal at the optimum position. No more wasted motion or unsynchronized clutch engagement. It¹s machined from a solid cylinder of 303 stainless steel for strength and durability. It screws into factory mounting location. And it¹s infinitely adjustable so you can set it at the precise point where the clutch fully disengages. NOTE: will not work on BMWs in which the clutch pedal must be depressed to start the engine.

    HAMMERSTAND - Hammerstand Clutch Stand - $79.95

i hate giving money to bavauto. hate hate hate.

so far i've only bought two things from them, and my transactions went extremely poorly. brake pad sensors and an oil filter.

4 dollars, crap man, I think mine was like 2. ;) Home Depot, where all E30 owners shop.

I was laughing when I saw that in the mag too. I bought stuff from them, but that was before I was a member @ r3v.

Fuck I think VPD or Turner are selling the same thing for $7.

You do need something wider than the bumpstop on the E36 because of the crap plastic clutch. I used a lowprofile bumpstop for a lowered car, the Toyota tacoma uses a 10mm stud and it was urethane. $12
          Im now E30less.

i's rather duck tape 10 honda emblems to the floor of my car and use them as clutch stops before paying 80$ for that pice of shit.

The disc and threads are machined out of a full diameter steel cylinder, so it's understandable that it's more expensive. It is stronger than a jointed connection, though probably not worth the price differential for a noncritical part.

Correct, no where near what you can make one from. My $2 clutch stop is holding up juuuust fine.

I wonder if they make it in titanium because if they do I would like to be 1,000,000.
