found 2 door 88 325is

i found a mint 88 2 door 325is, only prob is that the front passenger side caught fire, only thing burnt is fender and a bit of hood. right now i have an 89 325i 4 door and an 84 318i 2door, was wondering what parts i should grab from the IS to put in my four door or 2 door what is the diff between the i and is . it has full black leather sport interior etc.

Only differences between the i and the iS are the interior, springs, some exterior trim (lip and trunk spoilers), and the LSD.

How much is ACTUALLY damaged by fire? Have you inspected it closely? How much can you get it for?

Lip spoiler

will the lip spoiler from the 2 door 325is fit on my 325i 4 door 325i, if so how do you remove the lip spoler? also the 2 door is an 88 with metal bumpers my 4 door is an 89 with plastic, not sure if this would mess the lip spoiler up? also is it worth me pulling the black interior from the "IS"car?

the lip spoiler is easy to remove. It's just bolted on there. and as faras the black interior goes they are kind of hard to find, and even if you don't want to use it you could seel it and get some decent money.

carpet

i probably cant get the carpet, its at an autowreckers. what should i pay for the interior from the wreckers? leather seats and door cards. i grabbed the shadowline door and fender trim, spoiler and 2 door gaskets today for $45. he asked me what i thought it was worth, i said $40, he said 40 plus tax. anyways, what is the most i should pay for interior from the scrapyard, i am pulling it.

Depends on condition, and are you talking about all seats and cards?

The lip spoiler is not bolton on, if you are talking about the front lower plastic lip (i or iS), it's held by clips usually. i lip is only about $50 new, but the iS lip is about $150...

If you can get the whole car for a few hundred I would do that, you can then get the stuff you need from it and get rid of the rest.

Lsd/ subframe/trailing arms, front struts, interior, dash, glass maybe?, tail lights etc wheels?

well went today and got all the seats and door cards along with the blower motor, ecu, cant wait to see if it is chipped, spoiler, side moldings all for under $200. Seats look great, obviously some wear and tear but only 2 small rips about a cm. long. so i am going to install the black leather in my 84 318i, move the tan leather from the 84 into the 89325i and then i am not sure what i am going to do with the cloth seats from the 89. Oh i also got a rear view mirror from the 325is that has map lights on it, pretty cool, havnt heard much about them, rare item or just not that exciting? anyways, have a good one
