if you don't want to do it try to find some way that the court will be forced to disregard your testimony(i.e. your biased or a liar). for example my friend got out of jury duty by saying that he dislikes cops so much that he wont agree with what they say regardless of the truth of their comments. it's has to be good though. you could try to say that because you were almost hit by that fool that you are personally trying to get him convicted. or you could do us all a favor and get him convicted and off the road

That is about 3 felonies you have mentioned just in that paragraph. I would NOT do that.

Once you have signed a sworn affidavit it is perjury if you were lying. Saying you just wanted to get him also ties on malicious prosecution not to mention several other torts taht they can be civilly liable for.

You are in it for the long run now, theres no way to really back out.

Yea, its not jusry duty either, its full on testimony as a witness.

I'm just miffed I'll be missing all my really important classes to do this. I'll make my displeasure known to the prosecutors in a civil maner.

Oh well, great payment for doing my civic duty.

              In my hometown. Bow, NH.

I know you're big into skiing... this winter I'm buying a Threedom pass. You down to meet up at the mountains a few times to ski? :D I've got a house in Lebanon/Hanover NH.. so part of winter break I'll be up that way too.
