I painted mine with plasti-dip then coated that with duplicolor trim black.

A professional shop would be able to add an agent to the pant to prevent paint cracking. Plastic trip paint should work, but not as well as the pro stuff. Make sure you sand down the original paint or the new stuff will never stick.

        what is that

just wondering what plasti-dip is? we have krylon paint here in canada. the us obviously carries different types of paints, i cant even find sem trim paint here. the spoiler right now is black, but i think it was factory painted red because in a few spots the black has peeled and the red is showing.
so i need to give it a sand and then prime? or just color coat it. wondering if tthe bumper paint might work as it is for plastic bumpers and rub strips?
        anyways, open to suggestions here.
        cheers

I would say plasti dip or rustoleum texture paint(not really textured after 1 car wash).
plasti dip is good because you don't have to worry about rock chips.

Good info. Ill probably have to paint one when I find one. Unless it's already black.

when painting plastic it is a good idea to get some additive to the paint that lets is flex.
If you have a local automotive paint shop go talk to them and tell them what you are doing and they will point you in the right direction, and have the products there.

Cool, good to know. I'll probably bomb the current lip because the factory paint is cracked to hell.
