What do you guys think of an e30 in the Baja 1000?? I think it would be bad ass.:D

Someone had an e30 body on top of a k-blazer frame on the redneckville TN craigslist a few weeks back. Maybe he could jump on that.

i already have a rough sketch design of an e30 baja chase vehicle.

To be capable, it requires driveline bits from varous 4wd pickus like toyota for example. the suspension has to be completely redesigned and the framework stablized with a cage. And of course a dependable heart transplant - m20 is a reasonable option but everything needs to be tip top.
Other than that, its about what you bring with you and if you have the guts to get out there.

Otherwise, e30 is not a reasonable structure for off-road race material unless you are spending loads of cash.

i wanted to get the project rolling for this november but it *could* happen for next year. all depends on how many vehicles are in the works and if i'm building a new shop first. :)
