    Rim Repair

Turns out my "hookup" for $100 per wheel is not going to work out. I'm not paying $180+ per wheel which is what a local shop wants.

Anyone know of anyone who does good work for a good price. 3 rims have rash, one has rash and a bend.

fixarim.com is $109 shipped. You send in your rim, they come back strightened and refinished, shipped to your door for $109. They have shops all over, but there is one in Los Angles when is closest to you.

Wheels America has been remanufacturing wheels since 1994. With over 35,000 wheels in inventory, we stock the most diverse inventory of original wheels in the United States. Our goal is to ensure our customer gets the correct wheel along with the best customer service experience.

Its back up now... I think thats the one I was looking for. $109 for any wheel repair.

Fixarim in Houston is total crap, the BMWCCA has many members that speak very poorly of the job they have done.

The shop here in Houston that did my t-stars is Sabs. They are know in Houston for being the best and they handle wheels from around the country that nobody else can fix. I spent some time talking with the owner and touring the shop. The guy was very personable with me and went out of his way to not only fix my wheels but to fix the work the other shop had done wrong. He also did them cheaper than any of the other shops I talked to.

                  Here's their site.....

"Modern cars may be able to outgun it, but few can match its character, its motorsport spirit, and the way it plasters a huge grin on your face at any speed." - Patrick George
