    suggestion

Alright so spring is right around the corner and I can't wait to start really working on my car. I've come here for a few suggestions I already have some things in mind.

Engine wise I was gonna do what was suggested in the tech section from the main page. Btw I saw Kamotors intakes briefly, it does not require a custom heat shield right?

Cosmetically I was thinking about LED interior lights and the light to the license plate also LED. Smoked out headlights and fogs. And I was toying with the idea of replacing the normal roundels with alpina ones then getting the alpina shift knob. Yaya or nay
? Should I remove things or add stuff?

Stay away from the aftermarket intakes. The stock airbox and filter are fine and work better than aftermarket stuff. Trust the engineers at BMW over aftermarket guys who think they know better. Spend the money on a chip instead or some maintenance items.

yea i was wondering why no one really had aftermarket intakes on their cars here, guess that answers it. what kind of maintenance items? the engine is running fine and it does not need anything urgently. and what are your thoughts on the alpina roundels and alpina shift knob?

Stay away from the cheap alpina roundels. They are fake and fade really fast. Invest in good quality, fresh fluids all around and I don't mean KY. rad flush with new BMW coolant, syn oil, redline tranny and diff oil, ATE or castrol brake fluid etc.

Stay away from alpina badges unless your going to completely deck the car out in alpina parts. I'd suggest some ///M pedals and an e36 M3 shift knob for an interior dress up. Paint your gauge needles bright red, and use yellow laminix on your fogs instead of smoking them. If you want to dress up the engine bay get a stress bar and a ///M oil cap. If you really like the idea of having a cone filter for the sound, go for the 027 afm and 19lb injectors. Good luck and happy modding.

i was actually thinking the same thing about the alpina stuff i was more then likely going to scrap it. but the things you mentioned are waayy too common. everyone is running those things( except the intakes). i would like to make my car stand out with subtle details.
