Very unrelated car stuff... A Japanese classic skiline gt/r

I posted this here knowing none of us reasonably can afford this nor would anyone have it on their watch list. If I'm wrong please beat me with wet noodle.

Especially when you can get one in better condition in Japan if you know where to look ;)

I like them though, and was thinking about getting one if I get orders back to Japan.

Awesome looking car. I love the style of the 60-70s japanese cars, like the early celica.

That car supposedly is in Cali, but the pictures are in Japan. If I saw the plates I would be able to tell you where.

Court on a side bar where in Japan were you? I was stationed at Misawa kichi up north on the mainland. Great assignment thinking back on it. Met my great wife there too. :D Big bonus.

                  Beautiful!

Quite a bit of rust in the trunk, tho...

It's a 71 what do you expect? Most 70's cars are now ferrous oxide.

I actually had it on both sides of the fence. My first 240z was only on the road for maybe 8 years before my dad got it. it was soo rusted, there were huge holes at various places in the actuall unibody. and I'm not just talking about the floors and spare tire well

my new z was driven until about 5 years ago when the guy started restoring it. there was only one small rust spot, which he cut and replaced w/new metal. its so perfect now. both cars are from the western new york area

I figured Itwouldn't be long before our resident Nissan dude chimed in. They are basicly the same car as the Fairlady Z aka 240Z. Just a Homemarket only car, hence where JDM came from.

Cool simple unsophisicated car with carb's. Bullet proof and durable. Not like the Chrysler 2.7l V6 that are dying left and right. This is going to be a huge Class action for Damiler/Chrysler.

Yeah the styling is great but just think of all the fun you could have with and RB26 in there.

Greg stationed inYokosuka, Atsugi and Okinawa for a total of 8 years. Met my wife there too :)
