Worst car I've driven is a toss up between my Mom's PT cruiser and an 07 I think Mitsubishi Gallant. Both had absolutely awful seating position. Numb controls. The PT has some of the worse blind spots I've ever seen. The PT's traction control system was pretty terrible too. Drove it in the winter once and brakes slid a tiny bit around a corner and the system started feathering the rear brake and cause it to spin around.

My mom used to have a Pink 1991 Ford Tempo with extreme positive camber. had about 30 degrees of play in the steering. It sounded like a bumper boat. Brakes felt like marshmallows. Front end made terrible noises when taking turns at anything over 15mph. That thing must have had like 62.5hp haha. To top it of,f somehow my mother outfitted it with Leopard skin seat covers (front and back), leopard skin steering wheel cover, and a couple of leopard skin throw pillows in the backseat. Worst car ever! And then right before my sister convinced her to get rid of it. she let me tag all over the inside of it with a lime green marker.

2006 PT cruiser: talk about a piece of shit. If there's any vehicle that's compare able to a turd, this is it.

2002 dodge stratus: was as terrible as the person who owned it.

1997 ford v6 mustang: was black with a green fast and furious racing stripe. Only thing that thing had going for it was that it was a stick.

Some sort of 1980's isuzu shit box:
Drove that pos right into a snow bank in front of the owner. Got out and we both had a good laugh at how shitty it was.

Ford areostar van: it was shit brown and people would run from it lol. That thing was just plain hideous. Not to mention and absolute displeasure to drive

2000 Honda bone stock civic hatch: guy who owned it absolutely adored it, I was unimpressed to say the least.

1998 Ford Contour: guy was living out of it. Shook violently if you went over 40.

1996 Ford Taurus: had the typical ford squat in the rear and ford whine. There was enough rust that you could stick your arm through the side of it and touch passengers. It was about two potholes away from clasping in on itself due to the amount of rust.


Various 1990's ford escorts, cavilers, ford probes, lumina's, fastivas, beat up ford and chevy trucks. That's all I can think of at the moment, but I'll update as more come to mind

Ford tempo that wasnt legal to drive; broken cv axle, had to start in 2nd and shift to 3rd to drive because the tranny was so burnt out, ac didnt work, lights didnt work, steered like shit and was embarrassed just to be in it.

Pontiac Grand Am (1996)- Had to bribe a guy to make it pass emissions, had rear damage, slow, positive camber with crappy steering, after replacing the whole entire braking system i stopped in the middle of the road because the brakes just didnt work. Interior was awful, smelled funny, took me 3 hrs to do sparkplugs because they were on the firewall

Daves old ass pickup truck. Like a 81 ford. Had to wait for power steering to warm up, shifter was slopper than an old russian whore, no radio, no truck bed, broken exhaust, would barely turn left(my friend driving it had to turn halfway into a 4 lane street to turn, brakes like crap, would pop outta 2nd gear, etc.

pontiac sunfire, mexican orange, led shifter, messy as fuck, slow as balls, broken tailight, undercar neon lights, constantly pulled over for a drug car, loud fartcan, burned out clutch, ugly 18inch rims

If you grew up where I did, surrounded by the sort of people I did, then you'd fully understand that words cannot describe the slew of horrible vehicles I've seen/drove (not owned). Skidway lake and St. Helen are as close to apalacha as it gets in the lower peninsula of Michigan.

I think what this thread needs is to be a bit more precise then. After all - a rusted to hell 2000+ car can be a terrible thing to drive as well :)

That said - the Polonez Truck i was driving was in pretty good shape and still - it was horrible to drive due to poor (from the factory) brakes mostly, as well as instability in windy conditions.

Ford Tempo my Dad had for a company car back in the late 80's I think.
And pretty much any older Saturn. They feel like they are gonna fall apart.
