Polyurethane tranmission mount fixes that proplem, and the cars do like to twist, so the windows will leak if sub frame connectors wasn't put on the car. And the Z28's been known to twist so bad that some of them will have a small buckel in the 1/4 panal cause of the twisting. There is alot of plastic in the car, so you'll get some rattles.

AE92 corolla, but only because the center console was used as an ashtray and the clutch was slipping to the point where I had to downshift to second to make it up hills.

Beyond that probably my roommate's 93 corolla auto or a toyota van that was actually pretty entertaining to drive as you were sitting on the front axle.

jesus that thing was bad. Was my loan car for 2 weeks while the E30 was getting paint done. Never again, I'd rather walk.

Late model Dodge Caravan "Sport" that belonged to a friend. I don't know how a mini-van gets the "sport" moniker but I hated herding that thing down the road. My friend bought it to haul his grandkids around. As far as I'm concerned any little rugrats can ride around in the back of a BMW like mine did when they were little.

When I got married the mrs had just purchased her first brand new car an 87 Yugo sport. I looked like a dufass driving that around and what a piece. The clutch was designed like a motorcycle on a cable and the motor wasn't much to brag about either. We ended up selling it to her brother and he has lots of stories like when he was driving the thing up logan canyon and third gear went away so he was floored in second going 30 mph and everybody was honking and flipping him off cause he was holding up traffic for miles. That was a commie POS!

                - 2000 something Sebring convertible, the car was horrible in every sense. I've still never driven a car that understeers that much.

                - I drove a friends Mustang GT vert once and it was equal horrible. Fast in a straight line, but I could literally feel the whole chassis flex and twist when going over a bump or around a corner. It was a manual and shifting was horrible, brakes sucked ass, the turning radius rivaled an ocean liners, and the ergonomics in general made it hard to drive. It sucked

I didn't drive it but I got a ride in it.
                  offroading in a Kaiser m715
                  7,000 pound military vehicle
110 hp engine crazy gear ratios in the trans
crazy slow rock crawling transfer case
locked rear axle open front axle
pushing 37's no power steering off roading at saddleback mtn
I hiked up the mtn with a few buddies and hitched a ride with a group of jeeps down the mtn to go back where we had parked
I picked the military jeep and my buddies picked a jeep Cherokee.

The military jeep is 2 seater flat bed truck.

I'm in to offroading but this was one ride I wished i didnt take.
In a few of the twisty's the driver has having a hard time muscling the wheel to make the turns.

I kid you not in one of the turns he said " hang on we might not make this turn."

Yeah, I rented one (LTZ) a couple of months ago and was really pleased with it too...
went from Ft Myers, FL to St Augustine which is over 300miles and did it on 3/4 of a tank of gas running 80+ most of the way...
nice ride for the $$ I thought...

beat the shit of the little POS Chevy small car that I can't remember the name of and that they gave me the next time to go to Orlando, damn thing was struggling to run 70 and only got 27 mpg to boot... that trip wore me out...

Jeep Liberty was one of the worst cars I have driven too...
from NC to FL and I needed a chiropractor in the worse way by the time I got home....
I crawled out of it when I got home, WHat a POS that was....

that thing will climb a wall though...
wouldn't want to take a long trip in one but in the back woods, I would take it hands down over many others...

                        1979 Datsun B210 - Light Blue
careful, that is the car I got my learner's permit in, in 1979, well the car was a 77...
when new, that car ran all day long until it hit 100k miles, then it self destructed...
I can attest to 90mph in that car, not saying it was as tight as a 79 320i, but the car would drive all day long...
I was really into BMX in the mid to late 70's and traveled the state of FLa 3 days a week, my Mom drove me to every race for 5 weeks so that I could have the minimum races in to qualify for state championship...
I took 1st in the state that year...
She kept the car until I was almost out of high school, 81-82 and she went to trade the car in and it threw a rod as she pulled into the lot....LOL...
they still gave her $500 for it and she was happy to get it...
She still talks about how good that little car was...
We would go from Naples to Sarasota, then Bradenton to Orlando, then to Daytona, and down to Kendall, lots of races every week and that car never broke down...
even after that summer I still raced most Friday nights, Saturday Day, Saturday night and Sunday Day for a couple of years and that little car was right there..
I got sponsored by a local bike shop and mom would follow the van to just about every race...

Sorry, for the ramble, not saying I would want one now but the car did it's job and never broke down...back in the day...

My Toyota Tacoma's steering geometry was set-up by a fifth grader. Very scary. Sudden lane changes, a half turn of play, no self centering. It was bad. I had to completely re-do the SAS.

Add a new Jeep Grand Cherokee to the list. For such a big vehicle, it is tiny on the inside, materials are terrible, steering and trans are typical chrysler crap, and the wind and tire noise on the highway is almost unbearable. The Liberty is similar but actually has reasonable road manners in comparison.
