Surprised alot here are bashing hyundais. I drove a 00 sonata for a few years and that thing was very reliable. Price wasnt too bad and warranty was awesome. In the winter when you put on snow tires it handled very good. Interior was a little too "economical" for me. My only gripe was when I pulled into work early and wanted to take a quick nap I would pull the seat back and try to fall asleep with my arms crossed I could never get comfortable. My left arm would always hit the pillar or seatbelt.

so since the chevy cruze is temporarily off the worst car list..lets talk about another POS domestic car..
Now, IDK about all you mustang owner's out there, if there are any on these forums or w.e., but I have never driven any and I am glad. I have sat in 2. they were a 2004 6cyl auto..pretty crappy, but the one car that may trump most others listed thus far is the 90 something pale green "fox" body 4 cyl auto Ford Shitstang.. I have never experienced something so terrible that is known to be automotive like this "car." The infamous Fox body style of mustangs has their fair share of followers im sure, all raving about the great 5.0 engine, but unfortunately their "ETA" type gas saver was a vastly underpowered, ill equipped, and quite dangerous car. The brakes didnt work allowing the car to only be driven safely on level ground beause driving uphill was more like putting the car in reverse, and driving down hill was more like accelerating like a mad man.
The funniest thing about this is that it was a good friend of mine while growing up who owned it and was his first car. Luckily for everyone elses sake the family didnt care enough to ever check the oil even after buying it used and it seized up 4 months later...Now, there is 1 less of these death machines on Earth, and I am glad to know.'01 e46 330ci blk/blk (GF stole from me)

'95 e34 540i/manual swap (electric fire)

I was in the military. I drove many government owned vehicles. All were domestic. All were garbage by 30k miles. My list is bigger.'01 e46 330ci blk/blk (GF stole from me)

The worst car ever driven would be practically anything volkswagen. I drove a beetle and Mk4 and it was a piece of shit. Volkswagen engines feel like they are powered by two hamsters on an exercise wheel. The transmission feels like it was made by Jack Links its so damn jerky and the interior feels like crap and falls apart so freaking easily.sigpic

i posted a bunch of shitty 80's cars back toward the beginning of this thread. i still hold to those, but i also want to add anything british that was touched by lucas electric. actually, that pretty much includes anything british. i have had a couple mg's and a triumph tr3,4, and 7. all of them had stupid crazy random electrical problems on a continuous basis. they were all more or less cool cars i guess from a styling point of view. too bad they would never start, the lights would never work, etc, etc......they were cheaply made and rust prone as well.sigpic
