My BMW 318i 1984 has a problem where I am not getting correct voltage going to the starter and couple days before that , my whole car was not getting correct voltage and my fuel pump wasn't even kicking in. I thought that it might have been the wires , but I checked the wires and they were at 11.8 volts at full crank . The things that I have replaced include : alternator, distributor cap and rotor, DME , in-tank and in-line fuel pump, the fuel pump relay the battery , timing chain and tensioner ,fully re-built head ,all new gaskets, new thermostat and regular fluid changes. I have really no clue what can be the problem , I was recommended here by reddit BMW Techs , so can anyone help or give me ideas on where to start. Can it be the starters ground or the starter it self it is not catching the flywheel no clue anyone help?
