    318is brake booster fail?

ive seen SOOOOO much contradicting info on this subject. I have a 1991 318is. these cars came with Girling brake boosters and girling master cylinders. does anyone know if I can run the ATE booster with the girling master? in other words, are girling and ATE parts interchangeable? the girling boosters are impossible to find and im hoping I can just buy the ATE booster and keep my girling master. any help is much appreciated!

Going to revive this thread as I'm starting to get random stalling under braking and would love to find a replacement. The Girling part number is 34331157908 which is out of stock everywhere

Basically any booster that physically fits the location can be used, of course some require more mods than others, and IIRC there is a slight difference between ATE/Girling, maybe in clevis position. If you look around in the 24v swap section I think there is a list of what options are out there that bolt on or need slight modification, so you don't need to be tied to stock boosters.
