1986 Sealed Beams to Smiley HID

Hello guys! I recently did a sealed beam to HID smiley conversion. Looks sick on the car but im having a bit of a big issue.

After doing all the proper cutting and splicing of wires my driver side low beam works as normal but the passenger side low beam does not turn on. The passenger low beam only turns on when i turn the high beams on, and when i do that the driver side low beam turns off.

If anybody has any input or information on how to fix this. i have replaced all fuses for headlights and even got new relays thinking it could fix my situation.

please feel free to leave any useful inputs on this situation i have!

    Thank you!

you did not wire the passenger side light correctly. check your wiring where you spliced in the 9006 connector. the cars equipped with sealed beams had three wires on the low beam connector, a ground, one that stays energized when the high beams are activated and one that energizes the low beams only. good luck.

You sir are a legend, went back out and tried a whole different combo and it worked perfectly. I guess this is why i didn't decide to become an electrician/technician LOL

      Thank you!!!
