Help me decide... gold or silver bolts for the wheels?

I was going to put stainless bolts back in but the luster on them made the bolt head look tarnished instead of providing some contrast.

So I had some gold bolts from my other wheels and I thought I would try them out and I don't think they look that bad at all.

So the question is this... gold or chrome bolts with the polished wheels?

    This is the car

    These are the wheels

I think the gold bolts would stand out to much.

          Plus one.

It would stand out too much. That car doesnt need the bling.

Silver bolts, but clean the wheels up first.

I agree with cleaning them up first, but right now, I think the stainless bolts look a bit drab. Dirty, I prefer the gold, and since it's small amount compared with the rest of the wheel, I think it looks good.

I screwed up and didn't clean the salt and brake dust off the wheels right away and I pitted the face and barrels.

You can see with the first wheel I tried to clean up the face and barrels but it was a wasted effort. The are all taken apart now and I'm going to polish them up and order the new bolts.
