Shipping glass from Germany to USA?

Anyone have experience doing this? I located two new rear pop out windows over in Germany that are NLA but the seller is saying that shippers won’t accept because it’s glass. This doesn’t make sense to me as we had a glass chandelier shipped from Italy a few years ago.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!
