Help - Alloy wheels

Evening all,

I am thinking of putting a set of 17" 5x120 rims on a 4x100 E30, with 15mm 4x100 to 5x120 adaptors.

I have an option of 2 alloy sizings:
Option 1: ET20 (8J) and ET15 (9J).

Option 2: ET34 8J

Will these fit under the wheel arch or will they stick out? Also, what size tyre is recommended on these type of fitments?

You're gonna have a hard time fitting that in with the +15mm adapters.. It will fit, but you're gonna run skinny bois w that ET20

the ET 34 would yield a better fitment w the spacers, since you'll end up at about 20 which is the sweet spot
