We brought back something from Las Vegas.

My father visited the Imperial Palace museum and saw this E12. Let me tell you a bit of history. Our family owned a 1978 Grahite grey metallic 530i and in 1994, my father totalled it coming home one night in the rain. E12's were pretty famous for their tail-happiness and this time my dad couldnt bring it back so he planted it into a wall. Well, ever since then my family has missed that car. It was the first BMW my dad bought and the first car of the "family". Well, he laid eyes on this baby and if this is not one of the cleanest E12's in the world, I dont know. Ive known about this car for years and as soon as they said "Your dad bought an E12" and they described it, I knew instantly which one it was. Its been in quite a few mags. Im really ecstatic and cannot wait to recieve the car. What do you guys think??? Odd color, but I kinda like it because its very period correct.

I think so. Anything that Ron Perry has to do with, I am all for it. That dude knows how to make a clean balls out car.

The interior of that car looks so comfy I could drive in there for days on end.

Yes, this is my old car! Thank you for the kind words. Since the mortgage business has completely all but shut down (Thanks Barney Fucking Frank!!!), I am now doing this resto thing full time. It is a pain in the ass, and what I really need is a BIG backer so I can just handle the oversight.

I sold the car to a collector in Atlanta that was part of the Barrett-Jackson family so to speak last July right after the article in Bimmer Magazine came out. He then took it to Scottsdale and sold it for $29k (31,900 with buyer's fee) to the present owner. They were asking $45k for it!!! It is truly one of the nicest e12s in the world.

So, are you for real? Did your dad really buy the car? Please PM me with details. I still have some parts for the car in my garage!

Here is my most recent project:
