    My car hates me

Driving to lunch it started overheating and got quickly into the red. Stopped on a way, popped the hood and saw coolant on the driverside under the intake manifold trying to get out under pressure.... F ME.

Just replaced the head/manifold/gaskets and now this... let the car cool down and drive a couple more blocks home and let it cool down. Managed to replace the coolant hose going from the side of the block to the t-body. It's always something you don't replace, at the worst possible time it will leak.

So, replace those old lines before they become a problem.

No, it doesn't hate you, it just has that middle age thing going on.

Yeah when I re-sealed the S52 the only thing I didnt touch was the oil level sensor in the E34 oil pan. Can you guess what the only leaking component on the motor is?

Good thing that you have a bullet-proof M10. Should be alright, even though it saw the red. Hope so.

The oil level sensor? LOL. Yeah, running fine now below 1/2 mark on the temp gauge.

I learned my lesson, the m30 is getting all new gaskets (leaving the head gasket alone though) even if they aren't leaking. With the engine out of the car it only makes sense to do those now.

Might want to consider doing the M30 head gasket while it's out. Those head gaskets will start to seep/leak between 5 and 6 with a lot of miles. You've probably heard that before, but I'm tossing it out there. M30 headgaskets are really easy to change out, especially while you've got the motor out.

It's funny because my thermostat to pump line just blew. Thank god it was 15 bucks and 15 minutes to replace.
