    The sticker on the door frame says when it left the factory though. No vin to run. I agree that the vin stamped under the hood will be correct, but there's no guarantee that the title has the correct date listed.

      I just remembered one more place. Pull up the bottom cushion of your rear seat and look for a little folded piece of paper stuck in one of the holes in the bottom of the cushion. I did this and found the build sheet– it listed interior and exterior colors as well as the options the car came with from the factory (in German, of course). But it also has the date and time printed on it when it was officially finished at the factory.

              It's a late '89 or '90. Cool color, I like it. The driver's side door jam shows the production date. Check that.
