M-Tech II replica rear would be rad. That's what I want to do, along with an M-Tech II front, and some kind of side skirts (not a fan of M-Tech II side pods).

I like the m-tech II but I think that looks better in a solid color and I want to have the black on the bottom half because, when it snows here the bottom half of the car gets scratched up and black is really easy for me to match and repaint.

I took all the pics with my brother and he felt a good gain in the butt dyno from the new headers as well. From the outside the car sounds about the same but from the inside it sounds really good.

true, I'm so happy with the way the car is currently, Its a blast to drive, its nice and clean, and hasn't broken down in 3 years.

                *facepalm on the liquid clay*

The car does look pretty good though. I'd agree with Josh on painted the bottom portion of the rear valance black again...or paint the front lip and skirts red. I like the first option though, cause the black/red contrast you have going on is nice.

The car looks great, but I was always under the impression clay bar shouldn't leave the car feeling smooth. I've used it numerous times and it pretty much takes it down to the clear coat. If it still feels smooth, then it's probably not doing what its supposed to be doing(i.e.: removing impurities, and any old wax or anything still on the paint). Regardless, your car came out looking good. I just think clay-bar is used for a certain reason.

I thought that the clay bar was supposed to take out everything that made your paint NOT smooth, like little bits of dirt and oxidation and what not, leaving the paint NICE and SMOOTH....ready for a good coat of wax.

You are correct. Liquid clay is a crock of marketing crap. The description of the stuff sounds more like a polish than a clay. But what can you expect from ICE?

Clay is basically a deep clean for the surface that removes the contaminants from the finish that give your paint the 'rough' feeling. It does not remove scratches or anything like that. Basically it is a thorough cleaning for your paint before you go into polish and wax.

It doesn't do what really clay does at all. it just removes water sports really quickly and if you don't towel dry the car then it will be all powdery and gross looking.

I'll rephrase what I said a little. I personally feel that fresh paint is not the best feeling thing in the world. Smooth? Yes, no rough spots or feeling of impurities. But when I think of smooth, I think of a freshly waxed paint. Now that's smooth. That stuff still sounds pretty cool though if it takes out water spots. We all know we have problems with them!
