it is done and is sexier than ever

Alright so some of you may or may not remember me talking about getting my interior redone any color i want. well I finally decided on the color and the results are in and the winner is..... Brazilian chocolate. Does the color actually exist no it is custom made by my friend Thiago who runs his own business "Elegant Custom Detailing" he does some of the best work I have ever seen. But enough jibber jabber on to the pictures.

So before i start here are the before pictures.

Then we had to obviously pull out the interior

here is what we had to work with

so obviously we had to fix the cracks in the seat; time for the vinyl spot repair

while that was happening i figured what could have been a better time then to clean my carpet here are the before and afters of the carpet

time for paint the first layer of Brazilian chocolate being applied.

Enough teasing here are the final pictures of the interior (the pictures do not do it justice the color is darker and much more rich in real life and has more red in it).

after looking at the pictures it would appear that the shades would be different but it is just the lighting they all match perfectly.

As for me i could not be happier; I love the new color and the non-cracked seats. i would not change a thing i love it. not to mention i am the only e30 in existence with Brazilian chocolate interior.

It looks great! Did you take apart the seats to get into the cracks and crevices? I am thinking of doing something similar since I have vinyl as well. Where did you get the vinyl repair stuff?

Looks nice! But what I would have done while the seats were out was dye the carpet and rear window tray black.

That'll make the seats stand out even more.

How well will this hold up? Will the seat crack in the same place again?

apparently he has had extremely good luck with the patching compound so the cracks should not be reappearing. and as for the dash ya i am working on that still need more monies. I personally like the beige and chocolate interior but i may keep the black carpet and rear deck as an idea

thank you to the admin who moved this.
