          Thanks for the welcome -- after lurking here for a few days, I found this forum much more helpful than Bimmerwerkz.

          I still have the air dam, but it got torn off when a cop decided to pull me over on a dark road in the rain and I slipped into a deep ditch. It's still intact, but I need to mount it again. I was actually hoping somebody had some advice on that. I mounted it to the screws that hold the black trim around the bumper before, and that caused the trim to bulge out and bother me beyond belief.

                        thats a nice Hartge front airdam.-- I used to have one of those a long time ago.
