After all this talk about offset, I think that these are lower offset then +37. I may be wrong, but the rears had a decent amount of clearance when I tried them on with no spacer??? And they fit about the same way that my et40 17x7 currently do with 15mm spacers all around. This leads me to believe that the wheels may be et30 or 25. If so I'll be much happier! :D

I can't find the exact specs online, so I'm gonna figure out the backspacing today. I will report back tonight with the results! ;)

Thanks for all the help and comments guys! :woowoo:

try to meet up with me, so we can test fit my 30mm or 35 mm adapters... run it flushed and you don't really have to be hella flushed unless you want more aggressive like me :)

fuuuuuuuuuuh, my front left Koni Yellows snapped two days ago... good thing it has lifetime warranty as i only had it for 6 months

Do you mean the outside of the wheel is in relatively the same position as the outside of the wheel on the 17 x 7? If so, that means the 8" is an even higher offset, as an 8" wide wheel should be 12.7mm further out at the same offset.

Lemme figure out the back-spacing first. I have a feeling they are lower offset then +37. We'll just have to wait and see.

Actually it would be lower offset. I said that it's roughly the same WITHOUT a spacer, as my 17x7s are with the 15mm spacer. I have to double check the back spacing.

I was drawing the comparison of the two width's at the same size, to try understand what you were talking about.

A 7" Et 40 vs 8" ET 40, the outside of the 8" wheel would be 12.7mm farther out then the 7" at the same offset.

My current wheels are et 25 with the 15mm spacer.

When I tried the 8s on, WITH NO SPACER, they fit about the same as my 7s at et 25???

I think that the OZs are lower offset then +37...

Sounds about right then, they should be ET 35-40.

If you are saying the outside is in the same spot then the 8s are ~13mm higher offset.

Well they are officially et37. Test fitted them with 15mm spacers tonight and they will do for Bimmerfest. The rears would be nice with an 18-20mm spacer, but I wanna see the fitment of 255/40s in the rear first! :woowoo:

Can't. Gotta get the tires mounted first, and the hub-centric rings machined. Otherwise they would be on already. :p
