Cabrio Across America + Tennesee sign-in

I flew to Cali Friday night after work, picked up this car, and drove it back. It was so boring. If I didn't have work monday morning I would have stopped and checked shit out, which would have made it fun.

Pics of the car, trip, and more.

    Minutes after purchase in Cali

I missed the New Mexico sign, because I was staring at all the Indian shops.

    After Trip

    After quick spray down

This is Aber? I guess it's Aber, I've never head that name before. I picked him up at the beginning of Arkansas. He said he had been walking since Wednesday from somewhere in Oklahoma. Of course he was going to Nashville for some job where they pay you and let you live there, rather than the Salvation Army just giving them a place to stay and food for work. He was very dumb, and it was impossible to hold a conversation with him, because everything I said he would just respond, Oooo-weeee yeah! For some strange reason, when we stopped at gas station, the cops that were there thought it was weird to see an old dirty black guy and a skinny fucking damn good looking kid in a car with Cali plates was suspicious. After looking at our ID's and patting down Aber,. they let us go.

Best part of the whole trip:
Me: "Want a piece of gum?"
    Aber: "I got no teeth."
    Me: "Oh shit"
    we both laugh.

The car ran very well the whole way through and I'm really in love with it.

A huge thanks to Rob e30, who made this trip possible and made the transaction very simple for me. He had it waiting for me at the airport AND even had some snacks in it for the drive. Awesome guy and I recommend his business to anyone.

I'm up on Fort Campbell, all you Tennessee/Kentucky guys post in here!

I guess I'm lost as to the lure in this particular vert to warrant flying across the country, and driving it back, then on top of that you pick up a stranger with no teeth...LOL :)

You stopped in AZ and didn't even say hi? What a shame...

But yeah, a plastic bumpered cabbie would definitely warrant a cross country drive IMO.
