    My Custom Lip Spoiler

Well these pics were taken right before I left for the Bear Mountain Car meet. I made it all the way up to Bear Mountain without a problem. I'm 500 ft from the show (all cars in sight) and I bottom out over a dip in the road and rip the passenger side lip off. It's one piece but the impact pulled the screws out. It's made of flimsy plastic and it's a spoiler from another vehicle however, tomorrow I'm going to a custom metal shop to get this same lip fabbed up in metal and then powder coated. I may make the total length a tad bit longer on each side. Thanks for looking.

    George

Thanks bro! I was definitely trying to go a different direction. I've never seen something like this on a e30 M3 yet so I figured why the hell not :p......I want to be the first hehe.

I don't like it. Makes your car look like it has a goatee.

Not feelin it. Maybe if it spanned the width of the valence, otherwise no.

I give you a B- for effort. This is an M3, not a normal e30, therefore more time and effort should be put into it IMO.

            Looks like a mini snow-plow...

What if it was a little longer on each end?

played out? played out? on a e30 M3?.....

they would have a nice few words for you.

as for the lip, im not liking it at all. not even if it was from end to end. E2 or E3 or the combo (E5 if you will) for out M3. nothing else.

                    Used to.

I think it would work if it still had the duckbill angle, but was the width of the spoiler. But you run a much higher risk of catching it on something.

But if you like it, that's all that matters. Rock out with your cock out.

I don't want to sound like some purist or anything, but I guess im gonna when i say that a e30 M3 should not have something thats too radical or modernish in or on it. ie bling wheels, crystal taillights, angel eyes, any motor other than a S14... blah blah blah...

ok ok so my .02 cents. take it however you want.

I'd like it if it extended to both sides of the front end (that is, if it went across the entirety of the bumper.) Otherwise it looks a bit too home made to be slapped on an E30 M3.

Personally, I'd go with an Evo III front spoiler if that's the direction you want to go.

Im not a purist and i think trying really out there things should be left to the regular e30s

unless its reversible, then fuck, go for it
