Yeah it was, he called me up when I was 10mins from the car, saying he wanted $10,000 if he was letting the wheels go too. If I hadn't already left I wouldn't have bothered with him. It was ridiculous. (I'm in the Hills area)

Took me about 45mins over the phone to convince him the car + wheels wasnt that much but he still wouldn't budge under $9000 for it. So I said you're dreaming if you think this car is worth that much. I can get the exact same wheels over here for $1100, he shutup but didnt go lower so didnt bother with the wheels.

Oh the car has def been in a fender bender. front right is full on bondo and still doesnt fit right. the drivers door isnt lines up propperly either

I went to look at one just the other week that has been for sale for ages near me. 340,000km-old 2dr 318i auto in red (badly faded/oxidised), the thing is pouring oil out of every orifice and seal, needs the whole drivetrain replaced, shot brakes, August rego, rust around the boot/sills/sunroof (which doesn't work) and he tells me that he won't budge off $4k. Righto. :-?

I want coth interior, not heaps keen on leather. the power is delivered differently, the 325i is more of a surge of power whereas the 318is is a burst of power

ahaha thats heaps funny! before i got my is i was looking at an early 325is or what ever they call it in NZ. sooo awesome but the trans was leaking, runst around the sunroof and boot and needed new exhaust, but they wanted $8000 for it. I would have bought it but it was a grey import, and cant insure a driver under 25 on grey import!

I think I've found one to buy in Sydney (waiting on some money coming in or I'd be there today). Nice and cheap boggo 318i coupe. Will serve as daily transport until rego runs out and then... 5-lugs, 5-gears, 6-pots, two black lines... :D

No, not the white one. It was an early model in diamond schwarze, it had an M-Tech I kit on it, but I've seen better, rust around windows and leaks, Moo-cow seat covers! haha

Incidentally I know a guy who knows the guy who just bought that white 325is with dinner plates and bling. The dinner plates are gone for some simmons split rims the bling is also on the way out. He lives around dural somewhere so I'll hopefuly see him from time to time.
