Nice! My first car when I was 16 was a Polaris '74. Very similar to this one :)

Serious, what kind of work do you do? I say its one of two things... Either you kill people, or are a drug lord. Either way, I'm jealous...
Hemingway said it best. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely games.”

Glad everyone liked it. Ive been in Real estate for the past 11 years . :( Its been very slow for me for the past 2 years and now is the time for me to do what I really want ;). I always wanted to restore older cars. It all started with my white E30 M3 and its been a slippery slope from there. Im in my mid 30s now and believe it or not it feels like Im retired for the past 2 years. Why go against the flow? I took a break and persue my dreams. Thanks guys :)

Yes they are intercooled. First turbo car in production and BMW did a great job ;) I currenty have 2 and Im having the other 02 turbo , E9 coupe and a couple of old school Alfa GTVs restored to new. Then who knows the economy might pick up and back to work I go :D

while you are on extended break, we should parnter up and do something like Dream Car Garage, where we would restore cars and sell for profit, do custom work, car shows, etc...
The guys you use are doing a great job but they are not enthusiasts and you pay high dollar for every restoration because you are doing for yourself

Extremely impressive. I say you try to put the other one back together yourself after paint. Make it real personal, you know? If you have the downtime...

That is basically a brand new car that no one else could possibly have. Awesome. Enjoy it!
