THanks for all the compliments guys. Our front suspension is really working well, we still have to figure out how we are going to raise the rear about 1". Currently it sits on the tires! I'm thinking I'll probably build do something similar to what i did for the front. We are really looking forward to doing well in the autox this year, and we are trying to find some drag slicks for the 1/4 mile portion of the event... Our team name should be Hong Killers or Hong Hunters. lol

What spring rate are you running up front?
We put 6" 700lb springs in the back of my brothers car with no adjusters (just sitting on the stock nubs) and the ride height is perfect.Comment

We are running 600 F 750 R. Our springs are 4.5-5" only, so its way low in the back, thats why we need to be able to adjust the height.

Superb work, guys. Got to love that Luftwaffe paint scheme. Great work too on the flares. Make them as wide as Kim Kardashian's booty.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Alright so after we got our angles we screwed on the fiberglass mold of the fenders and taped up the top portion so the new fiberglass and resin would not eat away at our Styrofoam molding blocks.
After we laid the blue tape on top of the molding blocks we placed 3 layers of fiberglass on the top area. here are a few pics from this process.
we still have a ways to go but you can at least get an idea of what is to come.Comment

Nice well send either Silence or I am PM. We have tried for 2 years now to get our friends to go and help/supports, but so far the only two people who come out to help/support are our wives. I will say last year they did save our ass, if it weren't for them we would have not been able to get the car started on the second day.Comment

Well I was finally able to find the cable for my digital camera so I can add somewhat respectable photos of our build so far. Over the past 2 weeks we have finished out the work on the flares, cut out the doors, and started prepping for the mounting and final finished of the flares. We have also started sanding the front end of the car as well as the rear end in an effort for our new paint scheme. I now this one was loved by many but its all about evolution, and bringing something new to the plate each year. So here are a bunch of random pics that were taken yesterday afternoon, to give you an idea of where we are at with 4 weeks to go until the challenge.

I love those last 2 pictures. Bronze engine bits looks great! Good progress on those fenders - really curious to see what the next paint scheme will be.Comment
