lots of stuff gets mis -quoted in articles like this. when my e30 was in roundel or euro tuner (i forget) it some how got a six speed.
in PBMW lots of little facts about the my 02 are wrong or worded poorly. in the end it really doesnt matter i guess. what matters is bings on the cover of a world wide mag and thats pretty cool

Yeah, my Eurotuner article wasnt terribly accurate either. But youre exactly right about the important thing.

I think that is how the magazine saw it as well, true the S50 swap is common on E30's but I yet have to see one on an E30M3 + S/C.

Not to be a "nit-picker" but the S50B30 is not the same engine as the US S50, therefore, the supercharged euro S50B30 or S50B32 would not be the same as a supercharged US S50......and thus the claim could be true. I know that's a weak argument, but could technically be true.

Hard to believe there are no other supercharged S50s in US E30 M3s though, since this is such a common swap.
