    Thinkin about changing....

I have had so many different BMW's and now at a time when I have a company car so I dont need my daily driver and want to "mess" around with something.

I bought a E30 but the floor was a bit rotten on the drivers side...

This car. (now gone) decided to break, sold motor then the whole car.

had a change of heart and sold a bunch of parts that I had stock piled. Just had to go out of town as my wife's friend had a work accident and during the drive my wife asked why I wasnt building a car (I have the best wife in the world !!!) and I said I kinda need something to light my fire really. After visiting with said friend I decided that I need to get something and I started to think about the cars that I have owned and I have owened ALLOT of cars,

    1991E30 318is
    1987 E30 325i
    1990 E30 325is
1987 E30 325i Vert (for my son)** Build thread** http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=126684

    1995 E36 Euro M3 3.0
    1997 E36 Euro M3 Evo 3.2 (6 speed)
    1999 E36 Euro M3 SMG 3.2

    2001 E46 M3

    E34 M5 (my favorite)

    1997 E39 528iA
    1998 E39 540i
    1999 E39 540i 6 speed

I had a dealer licence in California and used to sell 10 or more cars per month, mostly BMW so I have proberbly owned 100 or more BMW's;.

I wanted to build myself a E30 and had a E30 M3 5 Lug, NV M50 motor, 1991 318is etc etc all ready to start work on but with the rust on the floor I kinda lost interest. Thats where I am right now . I really like this forum and dont post alot, just mostly lurk around and gather info but now I am after some insperation (S?) I am thinking about my M5 again and thinking another E34 with this NV motor Turbo'd with 500ish BHP may do it?

I guess I just need some help in staying on the E30's. ......

    Please help..

You don't need us to convince you. E30's speak for themselves. Just go out, find one with no rust and dig in. Sounds like you know what you want. ;)

You would think it was that easy, i have a soft spot for all BMW's I like E39's for how complete they are. My E34 M5 was just plain awsome to drive , look at, work on, everything. E46 M3's turn heads everywhere you go and make a great sound but are difficult to work on DIY. 740i's look great with 20's and low to the ground. E36's I still think are a great design and I will always love them but are so common and so many dickheads have them it kinda brings down the thought of owning one again....

      Not that easy.

I think you should get a really old, classic BMW, that way you could put some wide wheels on it, stretch some tires, slam the shit out of it, and after all that...
Have a photoshoot with Mike Burroughs in Tennessee!

            Find yourself a final BMW.

            507.

OK, maybe you don't have a spare half million floating around, but someone should make a kit to turn a Z3 or Z4 (with an M60, of course) into this:
