Yeh ahah m-technic 1 all round, with factory m-sport susension. Too bad that will be off the car soon though, as it needs to go lower. Then the next thing will be wheels. It's just so hard to find money when you are in University lol.

I had to go look up M-Technic 1 in my BMW 3 series Enthusiasts Companion book. I do not think it was ever available here in the US.

Yeh it was, just pretty hard to find. Unless I am mistaken.

EDIT: actually come to think of it, it may have only been a euro thing. Surely they would have brought it out in the US though. Seems silly not to.

I know I have not seen a e30 with it here. I deal with BMWs everyday at work. I see afew M-Technic 2s from time to time.

Mtech 1 was never officially sold in the US. However, some dealers imported Mtech 1 cars and sold them as gray-market euros.

haha oz-trail-ya, classic haven't heard that one yet.

Um serious though, it was on the car when I bought it luckily, but I was chatting with a few people on an Australia forum, and they were saying that it is hard to find a decent one under 2 grand AUS these days. So yeh around there. Hang on I'll try and find the page.

Also we have an alpina supplier down in sydney that deals with genuine alpina and m-tech stuff. I heard their prices were through the roof though, but you get what you pay for I suppose.
