I just realized i never really introduced myself..

I've been on here for a while asking random questions and such but i never really introduced myself...My names jesse, and i drive an Alpine 1984 325e, its my first e30 but for the past years ive been driving my dads red 1986 325es. The m50 swap is in progress and will hopefully be done by summer!! I have h&R springs and KYB shocks, lowered slightly but by no means slammed, and some no name brand black 17's with a chrome lip.

Thanks for all the help thus far, im sure you guys will be life savers as the car progresses

I am almost positive its a non-vanos motor. This is the second one I have seen being done.

And how is a non-vanos an unusual swap? There are plenty out there running non-vanos M50's, just as many, if not more than vanos M50s IMO.

haha thanks for the welcoming guys. yeah its a non vanos motor. I dont think its unusual but then again i dont know a ton...and yeah pics will be up as soon as i get the thing off the jack stands and get the front wheels back on
