    I know a kid who dailys a welded diff. or used to, his cars kinda not together at the moment but he used to. I guess it can get annoying going around slower corners.

              some of my friends with their 240's weld their diffs. So far, they've lasted longer than 3 years. parking, or u-turns, the tires will chirp wanting to spin the same time as the other. its a cheap way to use your open diff for drifting. But note, you'll go through tires a lot fastest too.
