That's right Amesbury. Thank you.
Thanks again!
Thank you both.
Thanks Vlad.
What I would really like is to go lower with 9" M-Systems in the rear. I will paint them once I settle on an overall scheme for the car.
Thanks guys. Means a lot.
The M-Systems will stay covered. The rear turbines are on backwards though. I need to fix that.

Thanks man. It has been a while. I am spending too much time stressing about being in the construction industry in this economy. It's not pretty.
As far as the M3 goes, nothing too fun.
repaired and reinforced cracked front subframe
new motor mounts
new transmission mounts
GC camber plates
new steering knuckle
replaced power steering pump
new gas tank/filler neck
new fuel lines
new fuel pump
Stromung exhaust with custom stainless mid-section
changed all fluids
Much more to go, but it is at least ready for the road.
Rims: BBS RS003 16x7 et25
Tires: 225/45/16
Thanks! I can't wait to get them refinished

OP, the cabrio looks great. Ignore the children in this thread who think the M-System I's look "ugly" or "weird," they're purposeful and enthusiasts dig how they look.
Regarding getting them refinished, I recommend using Ye Olde Wheel Shop in Elkridge, Maryland. My parents have had one or two sets of M-System's refinished by them and were very impressed with the quality, price, and time span.- Trey

Yan, lime is interesting, since everything else is so gray.
My hopes, though, are to change the color of the car to something different but subtle. I have a color in mind that may work well with color-matched wheels.
I do not want to talk up the color change too much, since it may take a couple of years if it happens at all. If I can sell my old condo and my '05 Civic Si (30K miles, excellent condition, any takers?) this may actually happen.Last edited by constructor; 05-17-2009, 06:32 PM.

Thanks TD. I'm with you on the M-System I's. I love the engineering. I would get something else before running them "naked."
Do you remember what your parents paid to have them refinished? Do you mind PMing me.
