Scenario: You need seating for your man cave.

    Solution.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has thought their E30's rear seat had a better use out of the car.

    -------

And might as well share the garage/man cave/garage mahal.

Slowly but surely, the man cave is coming along. Well, stage 1 as they say.

So much not pictured is coming too.

Cleaned out, epoxy shown, but has been cleared which makes it worthy.

    Thus far:

Hopefully by this weekend I have the rest of stage 1 done. Aside from wall art/pieces.

Yes if you noticed the side it's because she currently has a car cover to stay clean, that's about it until 1 of the many additions happens to this place.

Awww such WIN. I love it when people use E30 parts as parts of furniture. When I'm out of college and have my own place I'd love to do stuff like this.

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

i think r3v should have an "oficial man cave" thread! every real man has one. i mean where the hell ells can a guy get away from life and chill with some friends and talk about e30's?
i just built a really nice bar table with my friend. ill get some pictures and post them up. the best part is it was made for about $50 because all we paid for was trim. the rest of the wood was free. its dam sexy but i think it weighs in at around 400#! lol
i tried to use one of my old comfort seats to make an office chair once, but i just could not get it to sit low enough.

            Actually there is: http://r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=103738

A bar in the garage is a must. I was close to building my own, but saw this bad boy and I can already see what it will be without too much work.

yeah i knew about the garage thread, but it is not quite the same. the garage thread, although it is tight, looks like it is meant more for showing off work space.
im sure most of the guys here have small rooms tucked away some where in their houses where they can get away from the wife and kids for a while. maybe just to rape some terrorists in cod4 on the 42 inch, or to drink some beers and watch (insert sports team of your choice here) kick ass with some friends.
i think it would be cool to see some peoples getaways.
i think we have all seen the e30 simulator!

                      I don't follow.

Are you saying a garage shouldn't have multiple purposes?

It's going to be very comfortable, very well insulated place, why not use it for more than parking or just for car work?

Nice man cave dude, I have a set of '99 Audi A4 rear seats as a couch in my lounge.

                            Mmmm black leather creaminess.
