They are rear engine. The 65 and 66 Corsa's had an optional 180 Turbo in them and the 64 and back Spiders had a 150hp Turbo in them. I put the 140hp four carb motor in mine.

Whats your plans for the vert? And post up some pictures of your other e30 :)

only 1 day at the lake and it was back to work :(
smoked ellipsoids ofcourse an is lip and euro side markers and a rear plate filler, as well as having the wheels sand blasted and painted, but.. im very very poor :( i got the car by trading my 91 stealth es and $1300 =)
ohh.. and lowering, and having the seats redone in vinyl as well..
my electric top didnt work when i got it.. and well.. im pretty sure it was from folding the electric top down with one of the motor arms still attatched to the top what caused it to start tearing little by little.. then in the garage one night a cat or some type of animal decided to jump ontop of my top and must have fell through causing a tear from the passenger to driver side :( i too LOVED the color combo.
but i stole this black top from my dads 89 vert.
n2mye30, our paint isnt a single stage paint is it? i have an oxidized spot on my hood which ate the clearcoat gone and i cant buff it out for anything.
the car is so much of a joy.. people keep asking me why would i get TWO old bmw's..
i dont need to go into detail why here : )
but having the car which is my pride and joy, and only having liability insurance bring much paranoia :\
so my vert only has 130k miles on it..
but my IS has over 215k.. i happened to have some cash by selling my laptop.. and seen it on craigslist for $650.. and at the time only having my stealth i always looked on here but never said anything and was lusting for a late model e30 well.. in schwarz and 2 door with a getrag 260.
i came across this one.. obviously got what i paid for.. having some good ol missouri rust they claimed it needed a starter or flywheel.. so i pop started it and drove it home. later me and my dad learned the flywheel just came apart and needed to be re welded. so had a friend do it for me. bought a $50 battery and just drove it, i hate to say it, but with the amount of rust on it, i have to declare it the DD
the passenger rear window was busted out as well :\




i have repainted the front valance since then. =)
