remember one thing guys - this car was done on the budget, I did not want to swap the s54, do coilovers or Brembo brakes like I did so many times before, this, after all, was a Recession special :D

I have spare black bumper trim but I don't like it, white trim makes it look more like an Mtech, in my opinion of course. Besides, there are a couple of other white 2dr coupes on type As with black trim on R3V, so I wanted to do something else. Painted Euro trim would be nice, but this was a budget project, well, kind of..

PS: I hate painted door handles :down:

Drove the car for the first time today, drives so nice, I was surprised how docile the M42 with the chip is, of course it's not the s50B32 but still, very nice. Looking forward to finish it next week and take it on the photoshoot trip

If you planned to do the trim white from the get go, Should have gone euro trim or kept the US trim black.
With the whole car being white you should have done the door handels too. They look so out of place being black.
I think its needs more contrast, way to much white!!!

But in the end, its your car and if your happy with it. Thats all that matters..

MKs look much better than the eurostretched balloon tire, pizza pan wheels.

Other than the body matched trim, I like the car a lot!

Yeah vlad i'm def stealing your shadowlined mtech pedal idea... done deal. The mirrors look really good too.... having said that i think i may be getting rid of mine in the near future... for those that may be interested.. hah. But def good work on the car man... your threads always remind me that i want to get my car repainted. Shoot me a PM with a quote.... it will give me something to think about.

I like both sets of rims. I am keeping my eyes open. I also did the HIDs. Man, what a difference.

I haven't put my skirts on yet. I was surprised to hear tape. In Florida with the heat and rain not sure how best to install them. In this pic I just proed them up.

How did you mount your skirts? Did you drill?

haha.. I didn't decide which rims yet.. I am also building sick ass set of BBS RS for it, so we will see! I like the dishes on type As but MK Motorsports are classic, so I don't know yet...

the skirts are mounted using the doubble sided tape on top and ix clips on the bottom, I have to fix the right side as the tape came loose, did not want to dril the body for the original clips...
