I never owned a Jeep. But allways liked the looks of the Jeep Cherokee Limited ( the older boxy style ones)

Still own a WJ and now have an XJ

      WJ

      how it sits today

Reason the WJ sits as it does today is because I got this XJ

XJ has some work to be done to it, but should be fun once it's done.

I've also noticed the E30 fans like Jeeps too, weird

      Sold.......again.

rocked a 96 ZJ for years. OME suspension, bullbar, armor, 6mpg, yadda.

Also had a CJ with a AMC 360 swap for about a year.

currently the "other" car is a lifted '02 powerstroke.

in my spare time I'm building a tube chassis, sbc350/465/205, dana 60 / 14 bolt, 39.5 boggers on locks, etc.

cool to see some other offroad guys around.

i dont have one, would love to but 2 cars is a handful enough. my friend has 2 xj's, one is on 32"s with 3-4 inches of lift (maybe only 2 im not certain) the other is 6-8 inches of lift (all suspension) detroits front and rear on 35" tires, the bigger one is a peice of shit, leaks alot, it was rigged up

I have a XJ, a 99 cherokee sport in light blue. it really is an awesome vehicle for the money spent.

it just started getting a shimmey at 60-65mph. i think the tires are toast (still tread, but i think they are just old) but i'm heasetant to order new tires if some bushing is bad and causes excess tire wear on a brand new set. any of you other jeep guys had this problem?

I had the same shimmy....If its not the tires, you need a slip yoke eliminator kit. People think they only go bad if you lift the truck, but no. My silver 01 XJ in the first pic is the one this happened to @ 205K?. I replaced every bushing in it with urethane and it didnt make a huge difference really...its a truck. Currently it has around 240K and its never had so much as a flat tire since I bought it new. For the past year or so Ive been building a 4.6 stroker and swapping it to a 6 speed courtesy of a rolled 05 Rubicon donor. Its not going so well though
