Funny how the SoCal guys post with nice things to say since theres a really good chance I'll bump into them at a meet or something then you look at where the sh^t talkers live and its perfectly clear.....i mean heck, if I could talk trash and have the comfort of knowing Ill never see that person ever in my life, I just might do it too, but im bigger than that.

Oh and Willow springs does sound like fun, I need to swap out some suspension bits before I would like to take it to the track again. I broke 1:34 last time CW but Im sure I could shave off a couple seconds with a better setup.

Seriously, maybe this guy's tastes don't agree with yours, but if anything is childish it is everyone ganging up on this guy like this. I know there are some harsh people on R3V, but i love R3V, and its really fucking dissapointing for me to see the shit you guys are shoveling at this guy here, no matter how bad his tastes may be to anyone's point of view.

Come on guys, where is the integrity and honor in a large number of people ganging up on one person, especially since the person did not personally attack you first?

the guys who are trashing ara here are almost out of high school entering college, so Ara I have seen your car, heard it and to me an e30 m3 is still an m3, even if you still sell it as is ( put back the original headlights as in stock) and even the most modded e30 here would not even pass hagerty or american car collectors short lists of collectibles, so just accept the trashing here because it is a forum a public one at that and you are taking shit from people who are living as far as you can imagine.
think of it as owning a part of history that you definitely enjoying because that car is meant for the track stock an e30 will have to go to the suspension modes etcetera, what is your stock engine 2.3 192 hp what is an m20, but then that is me....
but this bunch of guys are fun to be with meet them personally and they cannot say something to you straight up, but here everybody can say the stupidest comments trash talk your car, keep it cool, and you will be fine, come to the plant meet on the 26th, Van Nuys, the so cal lifestyle crew is a bunch of cool guys, maybe we can do streets of wilow this summer, prepping mine too,

I for one LOVE the way my car looks and performs, I track it often and have done all of the work myself ( not the MS software)

its very easy to sit behind a screen and boss other members to keep a car looking factory but I say " to each his own" but some of you guys are acting half your age.

we have all seen the removed headlight deal, it really doesnt do anything and it has been proved numerous times.

you love your car! great, just because you do doesnt mean everyone else has to, so dont get all butthurt about it.

sure we at r3v like the oem+ method. but seriously, take a look around. this forum is composed of numerous people with heavily modified cars that do not look "factory".

true I could spend $1200 on the DTM CF box but I dont have that kind of money to spend on bling when my current setup functions just fine and besides its not a show car or anything, its a track car so I dont care how it looks.

1. the CF airbox does more than look pretty. it makes power when tuned correctly and lowers intake temps. its not bling, its function and form together.

2. you THINK your setup functions just fine. but like i said earlier, its not doing much, if anything.

as I mentioned in my first post, excuse the darkness of the clip, I live in an apt and the underground lot is rather dark and besides its more of an AUDIO clip so lets keep the childish comments to yourself.

getting sideways was around wayyy before the huge drifting fad. so no, this isnt a super drift e30 forum (though we do have some bad ass drifters as members.)

that flex hose is $100 per 10 feet, its aircraft grade and fire resistant. Its not some ghetto fab hose you get at home depot or anything like that......and as for the duct tape, I placed it there to prevent rubbing of the hose and cause a hole......really wished bmw put the abs in a different location =/

Unlike most E30 M3 owners I dont trip out about minor things in terms of looks or keeping in prestine condition, heck 9/10 E30 M3 guys will never see a track day but they have one of the best tools for the job.

nobody cares how much the hose costs, its not meant for cars. its looks ghetto and its a part of that poorly functioning "intake".

as for most e30 M3 owners! i know ALOT of them, and alot of them have very pristine beautiful vehicles, and i know 9/10 of the ones i know would take it to a track day anyday of the week and drive circles around your "not show track car".

Im running a megasquirt system and I have it tuned for this setup. For those who have seen the intake path of OEM E30 M3 the incomming air has to make like 6 bends before reaching the throttle bodies, this way its straight thru and yes it does have a filter...

NO, this is not a "noob drifting forum". The poster who told you to "go get sideways" was telling you to go have fun with your car, not show us it idling.

You have an E30 M3, one of the best handling cars on the planet. go take it outside, get some videos of you using it to its full, fun potential.

The Majority of E30 owners will tell you to make your car OEM. We're purists, what can we say? I for one think "meh" on the headlight. Its been argued that a "custom intake" does absolutely nothing for a power gain. Plus, it probably isn't filtered as well as OEM. IMHO, put the headlight back in, unless your auto-crossing with it.

Having said that, im sure youve been on the internet before. Unless you have a great video to post, everyone will think its crap.

imo - your E30 M3 is a 7/10.
