I was in Yellowstone last year - awesome place. Did you make it to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone? I like the hood map idea...looks like fun having a chalkboard hood.

I really like your car, its my favorite silber e30 on r3v, and i'm really feeling the chalk board hood. the trip looked like it was fun, but 10 hours a day does seem tiring. one question, where you the only to drive? or does the purdy lady kno how to drive standard?Strategic Alpine Command:...sig loadingComment

I really love your car. There is just something about it that is so appealing to me. I don't even mind the front ride height too much with those wheels. Great photos.Comment

Really nice shots man, looks gorgeous out there. I need to make it out west one of these days...Originally posted by BillBraskyE36's are the Stephen Baldwin of the 3 series family. They barely hold everything together and they only sold a lot because of the popularity of their older sibling.

no return trip yet, that will be in august. i've pretty much exhausted the western half of the US in terms of scenic routes having driven between tulsa and portland 5 times now, so i'll have to think of something to make it new. maybe canada?
for those who don't know, the oregon coast looks like this:

I would have been at the top of that rock. Keep em coming....Using a tripod or a monopod?Comment

the only time i have shot with a tripod is for long exposures, although i have often ended up just setting the camera on something in order to do those...
only this last one was with a tripod, the other ones were done with the camera being supported by something flat.Comment
