By the logic you created, yes. Except I don't think it looks like said dog-crayon crapfest you're describing. I was pointing out the fact that people don't have to understand art to like the way something looks, and if it wasn't for his name/stature, Warhol would be getting pissed on in this thread.

This car is bad ass. I like it more now than how it looked before to be honest.
And yeah, the driveway pic comment was guessing that there'd be an orange ring on the ground after a rain.... maybe not though.
What's out in Cali? I'd love to go on a long ass road trip in my car but i really don't think it would make it the distance.

I know of him quite well, and i can't stand him, or his work. I go to MICA and have had MORE THAN ENOUGH art history in my lifetime. There are so many better artists out there IMHO that don't get any credit... but, because he was such a fucking weirdo he got attention.
Judge it how you will, but i personally highly dislike him and his "work".
Go do your research, because 95% of "his" "artwork" he didn't even make.

Yea, I know all about the factory. 4 years of Modern Art and Design History.
I hate how quick people are to jump on that wagon when someone is successful, claiming "Warhol didn't even print all of his hundreds and hundreds of works with his own hands," yet as soon as something god awful comes out (Bangle) everyone points the finger at the director.
Warhol was all about emphasizing popular culture and industrialization, it is completely fitting of him to produce his works in a factory setting.
