    Newbie with a project

Been a member on here for over a month and I have yet to get around to posting up in here. Mostly been in the classifieds scooping up misc parts for her so far. I'd wanted an e30 for quite some time, and I got a good deal from a friend that's also in the local euro scene here in the Nashville area (tneuros.com).

I figured I would do everything in stages. And hopefully I will be done before summer is over.

    1 - Interior
    2 - Suspension/Rims/Tires
    3 - Possible 327i conversion
    4 - Paint/Body

Here is what she looked like when I got her.

The body is relatively straight, but the interior was a MESS. Here was what the carpet looked like. The grommet for the battery cable was leaking like a MOFO, and I found some rust holes from all the water sitting in the floorboards for what seems like years.

After a little fiberglass and some POR-15.

    After redying the carpet.

    And the finished product.

    Next up is stage 2.....suspension.

      Stage 2 - Suspension

      New front control arms
      New strut bearings
      New swaybar bushings
      Bilstien sports
      CO's
      3.26 LSD diff

This was going to be a quick parts install but I kept finding stuff worn out, so I decided the take everything off and clean/paint everything while I was waiting for parts.

Everything laid out, painted, and ready to bolt back on once the new front control arms, brake lines, and strut bearings come in.

I am a MAJOR interior guy. I did custom car/boat stereos for years back in the day and since then the FIRST thing I do to a car when I buy it is overhaul the interior and get some tunes in it. I have two amps, and a JL Audio 12w6v2 that is going on this car also.

Cut your spring perch down while the struts are out of the car. You will be happy that you did this now..
