Timing belt is not too bad. Make sure you have a Bentley and some common sense. I did my first TB last month--it took me a day, but I also replaced all accessory belts, water pump and motor mounts. The fan was a bitch to get off. The rest went pretty smoothly. Make sure you use a little RTV around the water pump, it actually makes it easier to hold the gasket on while lining the holes for the three bolts up.
Cool car, 88 i presume?
Also the timing isn't too bad. The fan is easy once you realize the fact that it is reverse threaded. All you need to do is put a long open ended wrench on the fan nut (in between the fan and the block), and hit the end of the wrench with a hammer so it turns it clockwise. That should be enough impact to break it free and it will be spinnable. Remove your hood as ell, it makes it way easier to work on.
Buy a Bentley manual before attempting and use the search function. Don't be afraid to ask questions either.
