    2002+E30 content

So I pulled into my parents driveway this morning and saw this little beauty sitting there. Needless to say, I got really excited.

well it turned out to belong to a friend of my dad that had stopped by to chat. I was disappointed it was not a new addition to the fleet. oh well. Beautiful car none the less. Thought I would share some pics of my car along side it.

    enjoy

If lucky, the E36 will die peacefully, in its natural habitat, and be given the prestigious honor of donating its parts to an E30

gorgeous 2002, I like your e30 as well. To be honest not sold the rims though, to each his own.

LOVE the gold weaves with the red. And looks to possibly be a grey-market euro import?

            I know these cars, I had a 1970 2002 for several years after 1975.
You're right is a pretty red with the gold BBS wheels.

            The great-grand"father" to the e30. :D

True heritage on a Father's Day.

It looks between a 1970-1973 model. Perhaps it's a real tii re: (touring injection international). A carbeurator for each cylinder. 4 barrel with racing fuel injection.

Definitely "beauty and the best". Truly wears these colors.

They had 2 sets of sidemarker lights up front? Or were they separate sidemarkers and turn signals?

There are 2 sets, yes. But the lower is a side marker, a required add-on for the USA imports. They were a reflector only, didn't have a light behind it. The top light with chrome around it; it was the running light and turn signal light. It houses the 1157 lamp developed by USA company Tung-S, became Wagner Lighting, I think is a current OEM lamp builder today.

What about those Hella lamps? They're as a BIG as basketballs... "D"cup? LOL

Thoose are nice. They are wild in motion. Look like a turbine.

They are OZ's. Here's an FS thread with a set (possibly the OP's set).--

Love both cars. That 2002 is very cool.

P.S. guys the 2002 is '74 plus and US market. Its got a 5 mph bumper on the rear and a late style side view mirror.

the wheels are indeed O.Z.'s, although the ones in the for sale thread are not mine.

I don't know to much about the 02, i do know that it has a rebuilt m10 in it. The shitty pics i took don't really do this thing justice. The entire car was immaculate.

                            thanks for the love guys
